Our Power, Our Planet

Happy Earth Day! 

This year’s theme is “Our Power, Our Planet” highlighting environmental progress is sustained by daily actions, community activism, and protecting existing environmental regulations. 

One of the actionable initiatives includes The Canopy Project (reforestation). 

We are planning a fall tree-planting project and are excited to offer free trees to three homeowners this year. The City will handle arborist approval for a list of approved trees and placement, as well as the purchase, delivery, and planting of each tree. Homeowners are responsible for ongoing watering.

We simply ask that the tree be planted in the front yard so it can be enjoyed by the entire community.

Offer is first come, first served. The lucky homeowners will be announced at our Arbor Day Celebration on April 25, 2026.
