A big thank you to our board members who volunteered their time to staff the information table at SummerFest. Their enthusiasm and willingness to engage with visitors helped us share information about our community’s tree programs and resources.
We were excited to talk with residents about upcoming tree giveaways, proper tree care, the importance of trees, and the tagged trees located throughout the park. These tree identification tags make it easy for visitors to learn more about the species that help make our community greener and more beautiful.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the table, asked questions, and showed an interest in our urban forest. We look forward to continuing to promote the value of trees and helping our community grow one tree at a time.
